A handcrafted ceramic mate for drinking yerba mate. Crafted from stoneware clay, fired at a high temperature, the main body of the vessel is a warm olive-green hue with delicate vertical streaks and a subtle texture reminiscent of wood or linen. A striking stripe of dark brown fading to purple-black can be seen at the top, with a slight, irregular glaze run down the bottom—giving the mug its handmade character. Each piece may vary slightly in color and shape due to the handcrafted nature of the mug.

Matero has an ergonomic design, fits comfortably in the hand, and makes drinking through the bombilla easy. The surface is smooth and easy to clean.
