Pottery wheel turning workshops

I invite you to an intensive, two-day workshop during which you will discover the secrets of working on the potter's wheel.

🔸 Duration: 2 days (10 hours total)
🔸 Class hours: 11:00 – 16:00
🔸 Price: 800 PLN (all materials and firing included)
🔸 Number of places: small group – max. 3 people

Accommodation is additionally charged at PLN 120 per person, we have two beds in a comfortable room.

Self-catering, kitchen available. Evening meal shared.

Coffee, tea, and cake are available during classes.

During the workshops:

• you will learn the technique of preparing clay for rolling,
• you will learn how to center and shape on the wheel,
• you will learn how to properly dry your works,
• you will learn how to process dried vessels (so-called semi-dry turning),
• you will make your own vessels, which will be bisque fired after drying.

Scope of workshops:

• 👉 For beginners – the basics of clay preparation, centering, forming simple shapes, drying and basic post-drying processing.
• 👉 For more advanced users – perfecting turning techniques, working on larger forms, machining and finishing details, individual tips and developing your own projects.

How to prepare for the workshops:

• dress comfortably, preferably in clothes that can get dirty,
• cut your nails – it will make working with clay easier,
• remove jewelry from your hands and wrists,
• if you have long hair, take a hair tie or clip,
• You don't need to bring anything – all materials and tools are on site.

Additional information:

• The workshops take place in our studio.
• For those who choose to stay overnight, the studio remains open until morning – you can create as long as you like.
• I do not limit the amount of clay or the number of works made – complete creative freedom!
• In case of unforeseen circumstances, purchased workshops can be postponed to another date if places are available.
